Rolling Acres Angus has spent 28 years selecting for cattle that work in the Northern Plains. We do not chase show ring trends. We breed for the cow that weans a heavier calf than her dam and does it again the next year, and the year after that. Our bulls are the product of that cow herd. When you buy from Rolling Acres, you get genetics proven in the same environment your cattle will work in.
Performance
We select sires that produce progeny built to perform on grass and in the feedlot. Growth, efficiency, and carcass merit are non-negotiable selection criteria.
Maternal Strength
Our cowherd is the foundation. We demand longevity, fertility, udder quality, and the ability to wean a heavy calf with minimal input every single year.
Structural Soundness
Bulls that break down are not bulls that work. Every animal leaving our ranch has been evaluated for feet, legs, scrotal circumference, and disposition before it goes in the catalog.
